theres no point of having the code, the thieves already know themself how to crack it, i been to more than one local shop for stereos and when i bring it up they tell me yeah i can do anything u want, it has something to do with the chip. ur best way to protect ur stock radio-cd player is have a multilock on the gear u will have to brake it to take out the radio plus they cant take ur car either even if they cut it off, u need the key no matter what because the new multi lock have a cutoff switch that wont let the car start unless u open the multilock with key only even if broken hehe chit now i gave too much info, i found my car with drivers door open no damage nothing anywhere or anything missing, the thieve just couldnt start the car plus it was n park he didnt come prepare to cut off the multilock still it wouldnt start
