I don't understand the question. You are asking if it will work WITHOUT the sensor totally removed? Why would you do that? That is what the hole on the intake is for.

Anyway, as of now, no engine lights coming on or anything, so I am assuming everything is A OK.

Now I want the CAI extension. I think I'll wait for next summer for that. I may do a DIY tube to direct more air into the engine compartment in the meantime. :naughty:
