Is the overall diameter of a 17 inch rim with a 40 series tire mounted the same overall diameter of a 16 inch rim with 45 series tires mounted on it?

How about 15s with 50s, or 55s?

im just very curious, cuz i hate my rims; wanna switch with imitation rays without change in overall ride height.

Is 600 too steep for 16 inch rotas with 205/45/16 ecsta supras? thats how much my local import shop wants...
