I don't think color has anything to do with it. He has some talent but his skill is more in the marketability of controversy. He knows controversy sells and that is what most of his career has been built on.

Not that he doesn't have skills as a rapper but his style is getting old and he is running out of things to say.....kinda like grunge...once your not a teen anymore, how can you sing about teen angst?
