I'm not sure the stock rear disks would help. The drums have a larger surface area for contact then the non-vented disks ever had. The drums are prone to heat soak but I think since the Cord is a healthy 3000 lbs beast even the stock disc set-up isn't much help. I'm still sticking with, if you got drums just keep them.
