While I agree that the Civic engines don't even compare to the B18C engines, it's not that big of a deal when autocrossing. I never got past 2nd gear the last time I raced, and we all know that 3rd gear is where a GS-R or Type R really shines. It's all about skill and weight and suspension, etc. I didn't really make a choice in the above post, but I would have to say probably a 4th gen Civic hatch or CRX with good tires would be good candidates. If we're talking stock suspension and engines, the 4th gen Civic is much lighter than Integras, both have mostly the same suspension, etc., so the Civic or CRX will be easier to toss around the corners than an Integra would.

But having said all that, if you are talking about keeping the car stock and have the money, I say go for a Type R. It's got both the engine AND the suspension setup that makes for a great track car. :bigok:
