Well there is conflicting info about oil. Oil companies and oil changing companies (Jiffy Lube, etc) say 3k miles, but thats just to make more money. Non synthetic should be around 5k miles, and synthetic around 7k miles. In my helms manual, it says that non synthetic oil needs to be changed every 7.5k...but that seems a bit high to me.
Personally I use synthetic and *try* to change it every 5k miles.
