Nevermind all that bull.
Just use the supplied hose to connect the nipple on the intake to the nipple on the valve cover.
Then that's it.
This next step is not really necessary but to make things look cleaner you can proceed. You'll notice that the hose you replaced is welded against the hose for the throttle body heater so to make things cleaner looking you can replace that hose with the other one supplied.
I highly recommend you do it yourself. You'll find it's really easy once you take the stock intake apart and see where the stock hoses go.
