I'll bust into ur thread for a sec.

I read about vtec civics getting a dohc head put on and it outperformed the dohc origional engine. Will the same work on the f23 engine. I would like to explore the possibility of putting on a dohc head on my engine and (if it works like the civic) get larger dissplacement and more power. I would think if its possible a prelude would be a good doner of the head.

If its possible will the bolt pattern work or will new holes need to be drilled. Also how about th ecu?

back to ur q. DOHC= dual overhead cam SOHC= single....

DOHC is better in most if not all cases.

i-VTEC= intelligent vtc, its a more elaborate form of the regular vtec. Basically more technology to get better efficiency
