Well, it is technically a SOHC VTEC-E, and is significantly weaker then a normal SOHC VTEC. It was made for economy, and really isn't VTEC. VTEC-E uses a system of valve deacivation instead of cam profile changing.
$200 for the whole mess is pretty good though.
Beware, the stock VX transaxle has really pathetic gearing.
