building the motor in itself will nto really make it faster.. it will just make it more reliable, thus allowing you to spray a bigger shot..

if you plan on going big don't stop with the motor.. there are other important factors.. like fuel pump.. the stock fuel pump is use to fueling demands of like 30-40 psi.. on juice i run close to 80 psi.. i think that i have to be at least around very high 14's... as ive beaten more than a handfull of mid 14 second cars on the street.. i know for a fact a built y-7 with like a 80 shot in a cx CAN go high 13's..
