One method is to swap the bulb out with a smaller one that fits in the socket. I can't recall what bulb # it is, but this should work. However, the light that flashes is dimmer, you run the risk of blowing a fuse, and bulb life is generally shorter. But hey if you want to annoy the heck out of people behind you, why not?
