one final note:
history shows us time and time again that when liberals come up with something smart, the conservatives will attack it and say its bad.
gee, common sense would conclude conservative routes from their distaste of change. So much so that they force others to change, rather themselves.
so why is it that when liberals have an idea on something, that as history has shown usually ends up being for the good, and the conservatives have to down-turn it?
conservatives are people who poorly adapt to change. Usually they're known as dinosaurs, as well. If there's one thing constant in the universe, its change.
so why back a party that can't do the one thing it needs to?
because we live in a "two party system"
or we may as well. I voted green party in '00. My hopes of changing the world through voting were shattered when they came up some 3% votes nation wide (they needed 5% for governmental funding). After that year, I'll probably never waste my time to vote 3rd party unless there was someone I knew who had a chance.
so yeah, given a choice between republicans and democrats, sure, I'd probably vote GOP, too.
Some democracy we live in.....
democracy..... Why do people call it that. They're lying to you, and chances are you don't even know it.
"I pledge allegence, to the flag, of the united states of america...."
"and to the democracy...."?
nope.
