Honda recommends it's oil viscosity because they test the cars with all kinds of different combinations. They recommend the best viscosity for your engine. In the summer you want thinner oil anyways, why make your engine work harder to spin thicker oil when it's hot outside?
Is this guy right? I would think you would want thinker oil in the summer, cuz your oil getts hotter makin it thinner, the thinnner, the worse, after a certain point i thought... maybe im just dumb
