In the manual it says to start it up and let it run for approx a minute(this would be for lubrication...it gives the oil pump a chance to put oil throughout the engine.

It also says in the manual that a cold engine burns more gas than a hot engine. So even in the winter time....1 minute then you should go. Just dont go above 2 or 3 k rpms....thats a big no no!!!

Thats my $.02 and i dont thnk i'm changing the way i drive!
