I think what our salesman friend enginjim has been trying to suggest is that the edelbrock t28 is maybe a little more reliable than a higher output bb t3/to4e. Edelbrock is "bolt - on," a.k.a for amateurs who don't want to buy new head gaskets. But it's true though, The Vishnu Evo (vishnu is using the ihi bb turbo) beat the Carrera C4s, the M3, and the S4. And this is also a perfect example of why torque numbers don't matter in drag racing when you have to consider weight. The Vishnu evo puts out 273 lb/ft of torque and beat out the S4 (410 lb/ft) in the quarter mile. Torque is important but lets not turn it into something it isn't.
