Maintaining your car for autocross = free :exnbp: Many of the most competitive autocross cars are bone stock. The only expensive thing you need are good tires. Now competitive road racing.... thats a totally different story.
I would venture to say, that if you own a civic, autocross is for people who dont have the money to build/maintain a good drag car :exnbp:
