Like Axe said, its your money to spend and spend it the way you feel.

Personally, an auto would be alot easier for you to drive, and I hate the fact that people buy trucks and SUVs just to drive on the road and never use them for what they are meant for...

Business use(constrution, utility) or Off-roading

Right now 87 Unleaded cost 1.64 and you will be spending twice as much as you normally do in gas.

My dad owns a huge Ford truck, but he only drives it 5 days out of the month, and that to take it out to the trail and get it dirty.

And dont use that "I feel safe in a truck" crap, you are no more safer in that truck than you are in a civic, and not to be an asshole, but you will be more dangerous in that truck. Trucks like that do not drive like a car. Suspension, chassis, acceleration, braking all are different, just keep that in mind.

Unless you lived on a farm up in Nebraska, and need something to haul shit to and from town, I'd say yes, But in your situation, big NO.

Keep your Honda or get another car, but not a truck
