Highflow? I think you mean short ram. The cold air intake sucks in colder air because of where it is mounted on your car. Usually on a honda the filter is mounted down next to your fender/fenderlineing/tire so it gets colder air as your short ram intake gets hotter air because it is in the engine bay.

Cold air intake gets your more hp and torque.
