Actually, GVR-4's are straight-up JDM's. They're not associated with the Normal Illinois plant because they are shipped in one piece from Japan, but they share a lot of parts with DSMs. They do have the same engine, but the compression and drivetrains are different. GVR-4's also have 4-wheel steering. You should see the European 93+ GVR-4's... There are twin turbo V6 models available! SICK.
NightShade: Beater isn't synonymous with DSM, SLEEPER is. It's not uncommon to find stock-appearing DSMs in the 11's and getting ejected from tracks because they don't have a roll cage. Congrats on an all-motor 13 :thumbup: that's impressive!
...I see. Oh, and BTW, I've seen a stock looking (aside from wheels and cage) dsm run a 9.7 on radial tires--and that was at bandimere, over a mile in elevation.
