if it helps you, polyurethane has better characteristics than conventional rubber. it won't dry or crack as quick as rubber. if you are concerned about structural stability of it, it's more sturdy than rubber. if you are worried about it drying out, you can always apply grease to it. :thumbup: it'll be okay!! indulge...
