How cheap are you talking about? When I was interested in a set, they were going for 159, non-powered. Of course this was back in the day.
But I'm glad that I didn't get them because I have a friend that has them on his 240SX and he says that the blind spots were dramatically increased. I don't think it's worth it if you're losing function over form...
