I wrapped the hand-strap of my Sony around the side of an Integra headrest. Good in-car of me pulling away at the track (before anyone jumps on me, he's got no mods and AT).

Anyway, it's cheaper than the universal tripod but still, neat little thing. I'd be scared of the suction cups coming off though.
