my AEM pads seem to make noise now when they are cold. when they were new they were quiet. it's not bad though. remember really performance pads are noisy, so i'm guessing once the AEMs are broken in they perform better.

brake quiet is what the stuff is called. you install it on the shims that go in back of the pads. this type of noise is caused by inproper installation and not from the pads.

also notice an asbestos type smell when i get on my brakes hard or when i'm in traffic and the brakes get really hot from going 0-30-0 every 3 seconds.
