my cars a black 97 civic, it has a lot of swirls and i was wondering if it's possible to have it sent into a autobody shop to get sanded down and get new clearcoat over it to get rid of the swirls?

would this be much cheaper then getting a full paintjob?

i know ur probably thinking ill just swirl it up again. but i bought this car used and it was swirled a lot... i have experience with detailing cars and i know NEVER to use a circular motion when washing a car. sooooo it shouldn't swirl up on me like it did for the guy who washed my car with a brillo pad
