any swap on the 6th gen v6 is not worth it. after you figure in the cost of the new block, the tranny, and custom fabrication ... you'll realize that it would have been cheaper to pick up an 01 type-s.

if you really wanted power, get a comptech supercharger, run low boost with cl-s cams and your tranny will be fine.
