go cheap and do a 1005 conversion with sylvania silverstars - there are a couple of old posts on it. I did it to mine -cost = 40-50 and it makes a big difference, pretty much you just buy highbeam silvaniasilverstars (put out almost 2x as much light as low beams) and modify them to fit in your low beam projectors. Its easy but use a soldering iron (you'll know what i mean when you find a site) - its not like HID but its brighter=)
