If it is fiberglass, the shop may have to "fit" the kit to the car my modifying it before painting it.
I would try and install the kit yourself after painting if it's a urethane kit, to save on money.
My kit is a urethane lip kit (wings west) and I had it painted, then I installed it. That's the way to go with that kit, but I dunno what kit you have.
:thumbup: btw jschmid, you painted your lip kit separately? I let the shop mounted it together with the bumper (I had w-Type), bondo the lines that run open between the 2 then painted it to make it look as one piece, now the bondo cracked out kuz i scraped it a few time. I'm about to repaint the front and the rear myself, but use the Plastic glue gun so it won't crack next time
