Default Molded Body parts

there's been some front end damage to my car so i'm replacing the stock front. The bumper needs to be painted and while i'm doing that i was wondering how fill in the gaps between all the front end peices- lower bumper and fenders. is it hard to do myself??? has anyone done this?

if i apply some kind of filler and i assume i sand it down even,,, do i need to paint the whole car? or can i just paint the spots? will the paint job look like crap?

i really want this molded look... oem but no creases

is it expensive to have a shop do this?

any pointers/experience on this would be great
