It really depends on the car. Most stock B series flywheels are in the low to mid 20 pounds stock. Dropping to 10 pounds is a significant difference (50%), and driveability may be affected with a lighter flywheel.

However, if we were to discuss say... a 1st gen CRX , its stock flywheel is what, about 14-16 pounds, Harry? Then you might still be in the OK range with a flywheel lighter than 10 pounds.


I like Exedy because it is a quality manufacturer, chromoly, and inexpensive in comparison to other brands.
