The highway overpasses you see in the background is the Wangan-sen. This is the Bayshore Route Freeway where TOKYO XTREME RACER takes place. It also takes place on the Shutoko Expressway, but we're far from there.
Oh yeah, my camera sucks at night. I didn't stand in one place long enough to hold the camera still for an open-shutter shot. So excuse me for some of the blurry pics and/or dark pics.
First, here's my Friend, Gary's car. It's a 98 Type-R. This thing is fast as hell and I've been a passenger in it while it spanked Skyline GTRs and other supercars during highyway battles. Ricecops, before you say anything about the wing, this wing is actually functional. When you're swerving at 140MPH, you understand the importance of a electronically adjustable spoiler.
Oh oh! Watch Out!
A CLASSIC SKYLINE (Some say it looks like a Buick Grand National)
Here's our buddy, Jared. He wanted to take off his front plate to lessen the wind resistance for highway battling later on....
Haha, only to have the Keisetsu (police) harass him about it later.
