as far as what wiring...you just use the harness you already have....internals i assume would be the same as a d15b7 or other non vtec sohc d15.

Okay, the JDM d15b (most people mean the 130ps versions and variations) this is a 127.7hp motor, and weighs very little compared to the dual cam motors, and there were two versions to consider in this power range, the OBD1 JDM d15b regular vtec and the OBD2 JDM d15b 3-stage vtec, the 3-stage vtec is nice because it has power and fuel economy, however, it is very hard to wire that pair of vtec solenoids with vtec controllers, your best off with the ECU, if your like me, you are not concerned with economy so the OBD1 will work out fine for most applications.

Either way, both of these d15b vtec motors are the same power, the 3-stage one would just be better for long trips and daily driving.
