I know from experience that Maaco is crap. It'll probably look good at first, you'll soon be very very disappointed. I would never take my Teg there.

But, if you absolutely have no other option, then prep the car yourself. Pull off the emblems (put some tape behind the holes if possible), mask everything that you don't want painted, sand it down and primer it yourself, then drive it over to Maaco. You'll save some money that way, and it'll likely come out better. Maaco's big problem seems to be crappy or no prep (even though I payed for it) and painting stuff that shouldn't get painted (like my door panels!!).
