I have a busted B16A2, the stock motor in my '99 Si.
My question(s) is:
What would I need to do to get around 14sec time slips?
I know a lot about Hondas (I don't consider myself a noob), and I know that a JRSC puts a b16 in the low 14 ballpark, but I need to make a decision about what I am going to do about my busted motor (hydrolocked).
Should I swap it? Should I build it?
I would love to swap in a B16B because then I could transfer my headers (too short for the Integra's block) and it's just my kind of motor. But, if its possible to build my motor for a little bit cheaper, and get better performance than a B16B, then I'll sign up for that. I just don't know what the build up would entail.
Please help me out (websites, info on their own cars, friend's cars, whatever).
Oh yeah:
ACT Clutch, Comptech Flywheel and Headers, AEM CAI and Cam Gears, Thermal R&D Exhaust
