i am very interested in seeing this thread answered also.... i have a habit of driving with my elbow on the center console, with my fingers resting on the shifter at all times, and shifting from there, but w/ the GSR the shifter is just out of fingertips reach.....

if the single bend brings the shifter closer to the driver i would take it.... but does it affect the ease of shifting procalimed to be present when you install a short shifter and counterweight knob?

i need help, this habit is harder for me to adjust from
than quiting smoking was.
