yes, i did this to my 99 sedan. i put a 6 disk cd player from a 02 sedan, eveything simply plugs in. it actually sounds better with the 6- disk model for some reason, maybe it has more watts
i believe that the 98 and 99 models had radios made by pioneer. the 00-02's had systems by alpine.
