Default let us know.....

gator, let us know when you install the straight SS.

I installed the Skunk2 a month or so ago. Based on on-line ordering, the dual-bend was the Skunk2 version offered for our cars.

The dual-bend occurs between the pivot point and the shift knob. This causes the shifter to be vertically-aligned under the skift knob. That is, the shifter appears to be straight up-and-down, coming straight up through the shift boot.

I'm not sure what if would look like with a single-bend. Guessing: the pivot point is obviously in the same place. So the single-bend shifter would then be further back from the radio console. Maybe the shift boot would look like it's scrunched, since the shifter comes up further back.

Maybe somebody with a single-bend SS could comment.
