And you would be using 4 of the front rims for the S2K, since they are the same treadwidth as all four Prelude tires, but the rears on the S2K are wider. As I said, the bolt patterns are different, so the one you saw either changed the center hub assembly on his Prelude to fit the S2K rims, or the rims that were on it were specially made for Prelude bolt pattern.
