MY $0.02 on this matter,... do NOT use bug and tar remover, figner nail polish, rubbing alcohol, and certainly not clay bar,.....I've been a detail for 7 years and I will give you this "trade-secret" if you use every thing I listed ( besides clay bar,.. waste of effort) sooner or later you will see paint "blemish" on your car were the sap you've taken off with the products above minus the clay bar,...all you need is to get $3.00 and go to your local "Lowes" , "Home Depot", or " Walmart" and get this product called " denaturalize alcohol" !!!!!!!!!!! no scraping, no"wait until it gets cooler", no soaking, no nothing ! just put on clean cloth and wipe off,.. even if you had the sap there for 2 years,..lol it will come off,.. its the cleanest of all products to take sap off....
