Yeah they have to make back some money to pay for all the transmissions they will have to replace on recalls.
I don't believe the tranny in the SRT-4 is made by Chrysler. It was praised for having good feel, so I doubt Chrysler makes it. Chrysler's automatics are the ones that are prone to going into "limp home" mode.
