You can get the remote start hooked up but there is a neutral sfety switch that has to be added in order to make sure the car won't start if it is in gear.

BTW remote start is more neccesary in Oregon than it is in Cali as it is nice to get into a warm car in the winter. Its not like Cali where you have a cold streak that hits in the 60s
