japan > america
at least in the performance/liter and build quality zones. Seeing how well the high performance japanese cars are made is just amazing compared to that of any high performance American car.
A guy I talk to sometimes who owns a Viper says he has to put a lot of money into his car to keep it running well. The guy with the R34 Skyline tells me all the money he puts in the car is gas, oil changes, and mods. I know lots of people with WRX's, and they all run perfectly with no trouble for well over a year or more (since they bought them basically) The WRX is no Viper. Of course not. But for an expensive car, you'd expect the more expensive one to run a little better. Kinda like going for a Sony, and getting GPX, or Apex quality.
I don't really think I can go back to driving an american car, unless I want to restore an old muscle car sometime when I have money.
It's basically just a bunch of american rice kids who think that they have a performance god. When in fact they have a cheaply built, upgraded Neon. I relate them to all these TFATF kids who think their Civic DX sedans with stock motors can race with the big boys.
Keep increasing the boost on those stock dodge motors, kiddies. I can't wait til you all blow the welds on your intakes, and have to replace the piston rings you fried. That's what you boys get for granny shiftin', not double-clutchin like ya should be.
