I have a stock head unit and speakers in my 99 EX V-6 and I do not experience "loose bass" or muffled highs, so dont listen to that...and, my aftermarket 15" subs dont sound sloppy either, with the signal coming out of the Honda factory radio...I cant get the bass to travel outside the vehicle, which has been my goal, but thats another problem---the bass isnt sloppy or muddy, though.
