Actually I don't break the speed limit. I have a need for speed and it gets fulfilled to its fullest by working for a race team. I got to drive a SCCA spec Formula car and I highly doubt you'll ever get to do that. When you wreck on a race track there are a lot of things saving your ass...
1. HANS device.
2. Roll cage
3. Tire/styrefoam barrier
4. Vehicular design
When you wreck street racing you are pretty much depending on a car that isn't designed to withstand impacts at that high speeds. We had a bunch of kids splattered a couple of weeks ago when street racing at 100 mph+ and yet a few weeks back during a IRL race a driver hit the wall at 200mph + and walked away unscathed.
Don't end up killing yourself because then you won't get to enjoy life.
