Past time to fix it you have a ring problem.
Remember after you get it fixed it will smoke because you now have coated the inside of your exaust with oil.
Did you assemble yourself? Did you install the rings properly? Before condeming aftermarket parts make sure they are properly used. I don't know how well OEM rings work on aftermarket pistons. At least you post reads like aftermarket parts.

well, I replaced the rings and honed the block really good. now it is still smoking really bad and I have a bout 180mi on it. what could be wrong?/ possible head gasket problem.
