I have a coupe and I have 2 10" subwoofers that I could install. I was thinking of installing them at the side, facing sideways... If I install both, they'd be facing each other for a symmetrical look. Has anyone else done something similar? Or is tehre something fundamentally wrong with this design. I've also considered taking out the spare tire and using that well as part of the enclosure. Because I see everyone with bigass boxes firing backwardss, taking up half the trunk... Or sedans with subs firing through the passthrough (Which i do not have.)
An ex-co worker of mine had two Profile Baja 12s installed to the left and right sides of the trunk, facing each other, in separate sealed boxes and sometimes sounded like complete ass, in his Caprice Classic sedan; but it could have been his gear, the install, and the car----all pieces of shit in this equation. You are better off getting a traditional box and firing it backwards like everyone else does.
