1999 Honda Accord EX

I am constantly forgetting to release the Parking brake. I can't see the Brake light because its out of my viewing area. (covered by the steering wheel), and too stupid to wonder why the car is lagging until I've driven a quarter mile.

Does anyone know where the Parking brake switch is, and how I can get to it? I want to put a small audible alarm on it.
