i've heard nothing but great stuff about valentine one radar detectors. I don't think tint affects the performance of the detector in any way. My friend has one with a full limo tint, and works just as good as anyone else's valentine one. I could be wrong, but it should work. Catch is that it is one hell of a costly little shit.
