Alright so my car passed inspection but my mechanic said that my rear wheel bearing is getting pretty bad... actually he said that he wouldn't drive on it if his life depended on it, so anyways its pretty bad and I was just going to do it myself so I broke out my best friend the Haynes manual and it said that the wheel bearing on integras are one with the hub and by separating them you break an important seal and its best to replace both. The hub is under pressure and I'm a backyard mechanic who often :beer: doesn't realize what hes getting into.
1) Is the whole hub/bearing thing true?
2) How hard is this job?
3) How much to have an honest :naughty: mechanic do it?
