Yes, LX, but what I was saying was I have seen almost ALL installs with sub boxes facing you when you open the trunk----with the subs firing outward, toward the trunk, not toward the rear seat---seems this causes what is known as a "bass wave" which can develop and double, and then reach the passenger compartment as heavy hitting bass...now, I dont know if this applies to SUVs and hatchbacks, where the rear cargo areas are all totally open....but I have seen coupes and sedans where the subs fire backwards towards the trunk.
Some have told me that firing subs toward the seats muffles the bass and it doesnt sound right that way....
